The optical method for sorting fruits according to the quality provides for the inspection of the fruits which is effected n - times in consecutive and concurrent order by simultaneously displacing, rotating and exposing the fruits to a luminous flux, having a complex spectrum, as well as by detecting a luminous flux reflected from the fruits in the perpendicular direction to their displacement and in synchronism therewith. The plant for sorting the fruits comprises a device for their displacement which device is provided with a means for their rotation. In an optical-electronic unit the amplifiers of a conversion unit (10) are electrically connected with threshold elements (11) of an identification unit either directly or through two or more algorithmic units (5). |
