The anchor has a helical blade (1) screwed into the ground with the anchored article secured to it after insertion. The anchor can have a head accommodating a spanner, the head being below the surface of the ground when screwed home. The anchor can be connected to the cable by a swivel joint to prevent rotational forces being exerted.
