PURPOSE:To decrease remarkably the flaw such as mobbling of tread rubber by forming the padding part having a taper at least one part of the direction side in which a knife blade comes out at mold opening. CONSTITUTION:At the portion where a knife blade 11 on the inner peripheral surface of two tread rings 10 is inbeded, and at least one part of the direction side 12 in which the knife blade 11 comes out, the padding part 14 having a tapering part so as to be in contact with said direction side at mold closing, is cast and formed integrally with the mold by working. A smooth taper 42 is formed at the wall part of the surface groove of the direction side in which the knife blade 41 in the notch formed by vulcanization on the treat surface comes out at mold opening, and the rigidity of said tapering part is heightened and then the knife blade 41 slides smoothly on the tapering surface 42, whereby the knife blade is drawn easily. |
