PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which selectively switches a communication procedure in accordance with a purpose of communication by selectively switching a slot fixed type communication procedure in which utility of maximum numbers of radio slots normally requested is secured and a slot variable type communication procedure which switches the number of radio slots to be used on the basis of a communication quality of the radio slot. SOLUTION: After a user of a mobile terminal is transited to a state in which he performs slot fixed type operation or performs slot variable type operation when data communication is performed by using a plurality of radio slots, he inputs a condition indicating either the slot fixed type or the slot variable type (S1). It is decided whether or not the condition the user of the mobile terminal inputs coincides with a current condition stored in a storage part such as memory of the mobile terminal (S2) and a condition stored in the storage part of the mobile terminal is rewritten only when they do not coincide with each other (S3). Thus, communication procedures are selectively switched every call in accordance with a purpose of communication.
