PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid coupling device with a lock-up capable of highly precisely controlling a lock-up clutch by providing a special oil path to control the lock-up clutch outside a circulating oil path of working oil to be a transmission medium of a fluid coupling. SOLUTION: Hydraulic pressure of a cylinder chamber B is drained through an oil path 43 for clutch control at the time of starting and a lock-up clutch 13 is in a released state, and torque of an engine output shaft is transmitted to an input shaft 31 through a fluid coupling 11. At this time, working oil is supplied to the inside of a fluid coupling chamber A from an oil path 41 for supply (41a, 41b), discharged from an oil path 42 for discharge (42a, 42b), and working oil in the chamber is circulated. When a vehicle is made to be comparatively low in speed, working oil of specified hydraulic pressure is supplied to a cylinder chamber B through an oil path 43 for clutch control (43a, 43b), the lock-up clutch 13 has specified torque capacity, the torque is transmitted directly to a turbine hub 30, and hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the cylinder chamber B is properly governed.
