<p>The compsn. is made by (a) combining a sodium alkyl ether sulphate with water at 20-35 deg.C in a reactor with slow stirring; (b) pumping the mixt. with a betaine deriv. at 20-35 deg.C; (c) adding non-ionic components e.g. ethoxylated fatty alcohols amides, alkylamides of fatty acids, and foam stabilisers; (d) incorporating amine oxides, skin lubricants and auxiliary agents and homogenising the mixt. to a viscosity of 100-10,000 mPas. - The sodium alkyl ether sulphate has 50 wt.% 12C and 14C alkyl gps., the betaine deriv. si a 8-18C alkyl dimethyl carboxymethyl betaine and the ethoxylated fatty alcohol is a 12-18C alcohol with a 2-6 mols. ethylene oxide.</p> |
