<p>A method is described for confining chemical treatment agents in which use is made of olefin polymer films which comprise quantities of one or more fatty-acid-derived compounds which reduce permeability. These films have improved barrier properties, as is evidenced by the reduced speeds of methyl bromide diffusion. The films are used very suitably as tarred canvases for soil fumigation or soil-covering materials.</p> |
