PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality sheet discharging device for preventing hot air or steam generated from heated sheets from causing curling the sheets already discharged and stacked, and an image forming device. SOLUTION: A second duct 22 is provided at the upper part of a sheet path for discharging hot air and steam to the outside of a device so that hot air and stream H generated from heated recording sheets S can be exhausted to the outside of the device via the second duct 22, thereby preventing the deposition of the hot air and the steam H on the recording sheets S discharged to and stacked on a sheet discharging tray 20 and the curling of the stacked recording sheets S. The trouble and malfunction of electric systems due to overtemperature in the device are also prevented.
