The present invention relates to the microbiological industry. The method for preparing L-lysine comprises deep culturing under aerobic conditions of an L-lysine producer of the genus Brevebacterium on a nutrient medium that contains sources of carbon, nitrogen, mineral salts and growth stimulants, followed by isolation of the desired product, according to the present invention, and providing ionizing radiation of the L-lysine producer before culturing at a dose rate of from 0.5 to 4.0 kRad/min, up to a total dose not exceeding 50 kRad. The present invention is useful in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and also in animal feeding. |
