PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling down of water respectively from an ejecting pipe for alkaline ionized water, or the like, and a discharge pipe for acidic ionized water by providing check valves respectively at the anode side and the cathode side in the outlet part of an electrolytic cell for generating the alkaline ionized water and the acidic ionized water by the electrolysis of water. SOLUTION: The alkaline ionized water and the acidic ionized water are generated by filtering raw water such as city water by a water purifier 4, adding calcium ions from a calcium ion supply part 23 to the raw water to increase the electric conductivity and electrolyzing the water in an electrolytic cell part 6. The operation of the electrolytic cell part 6, or the like is controlled by a control means 16, the alkaline ionized water, or the like, is discharged from the ejecting pipe 12 and the acidic ionized water, or the like, is discharged from the discharge pipe 13. In this case, the check valves 100, 200 are arranged respectively in the ejecting pipe 12 and the discharge pipe 13 to prevent the falling off of water respectively from the ejecting pipe 12 and the discharge pipe 13. As a result, the falling off of water is prevented with the simple and inexpensive structure and the operation efficiency of the water preparing equipment is improved.
