The bracelet is formed of links (6) comprising, on one side, a projecting male part (7) and, on the other side, a groove-shaped female part (8) interacting with the male part of an adjacent link in order to permit the assembly of these links with one another. The link is covered with a decorative element (1) which may be made from hard metal. This element has a relatively thin median part (2) serving as a housing for the link (6). A tube (5), perforated and internally threaded, is welded to the lower face of the median part (2) of the element (1). During assembly of the bracelet, this tube (5) engages in a corresponding opening (9) of the link and it is connected, like the element (1), to this link by means of a fastening screw (10). In the assembled state of the bracelet, the element (1) covers the linking part between two adjacent links, preventing the disengagement of the latter. <IMAGE>
