PURPOSE: An operation safety circuit of integrated circuit is provided to completely stop the operation of an IC when abnormality is occurred in the source voltage supplied to the IC. CONSTITUTION: A power supply sensing circuit(100) consists of first/second reference circuits(10,20) for generating reference voltage, a comparator(30) and an output(40). The comparator(30) compares the outputs from the first/second reference circuits(10,20). The output(40) receives the output from the comparator(30) to output a final output value. The power supply sensing circuit(100) inputs or blocks outer clock signals output from an input pad to an IC. The outer clock signals are generated from a clock generator. In addition, the outputs of the power supply sensing circuit(100) and the outer clock signals of the clock generator are input to a NOR gate part.
