PURPOSE: An authentication service method and system by storing supporting evidence is provided to register, confirm and deliver the supporting evidence safely and conveniently, regardless of time and space. CONSTITUTION: An authentication service server divided into a local server(140) and a main server(160) registers and keeps supporting evidence sent from a user computer(100). The authentication service server consists of a web server(141), a mail server(142), an authentication unit(143), a delivery unit(144), a settlement unit(145), a user authentication DB(147), a supporting evidence DB(148) and a DB management unit(146). The authentication unit(143) provides an intrinsic data number to the registered data, identifies a user and judges whether the user has authority to read the registered data. The delivery unit(144) carries out automatic transportation through the delivery information of the registered data. The settlement unit(145) calculates a charge according to the capacity and keeping period of supporting evidence. The user authentication DB(147) stores user authentication information, user option and various kinds of data numbers. The supporting evidence DB(148) stores supporting evidence transmitted from a user computer(100). The DB management unit(146) provides database access authority only for users authenticated through the authentication unit(143).
