PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ISOBUTYRYL FLUORIDE

摘要

Carbonylation of propylene and organic acid comprises (a) forming a liq. mixt. of CO in an anhydrous acid (HF) in a first reactor at 10 - 100≦̸C under a pressure of 14 - 682 bars, and (b) reacting in the liq. phase in a second reactor the mixt. from (a) with propylene at 40 - 60≦̸C and 39-340 bars to form isobutyryl fluoride. The molar ratio of the CO to the anhydrous acid (HF) is 1.1 - 5 and that of the HF to the propylene is 10 - 30.
