HOME NETWORK SYSTEM FOR BIDIRECTIONAL MULTIMEDIA SERVICE

PURPOSE: A home network system for bidirectional multimedia service is provided to be capable of controlling a plurality of display units by use of one setup box. CONSTITUTION: A home network system comprises a setup box which has a master board(20A) and a plurality of sub boards(20B-20N). The number of the boards(20A-20N) are identical to that of display units for offering bidirectional multi service in each home. The master board(20A) is connected to a network through a transfer medium such as an optical fiber, a coaxial cable, a spiral pair cable and a satellite. The sub boards(20B-20N) are connected to a network interface unit of the master board(20A).
