The title compds. I [ R = H, amino; X = H, amino, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, cyano, carbamoyl, phenyl; n = 0, 1; P = integer 0-3 ; A = anion were prepd. for use as a medicine for tumors. D-glucose- monohydrate and 3,6-diamino acridine were stirred vigorously into a mixt. of acetone and water. This prepd. suspension was heated at 45≦̸C, reacted with concd. hydrochloric acid, and stirred for 5 min to form the ppt.. This ppt. was sepd., and recrystd. to give 3,6-di-(β- D-glucopiranosyl-amino)-acridine.
