PROCESS FOR TREATING A POLYMERISATION REACTOR

An aqueous coating solution is sprayed in the interior of the reactor. After the aqueous coating solution has been sprayed, steam is injected and condensed within the reactor. Upon polymerising a vinyl chloridebase monomer composition in the reactor after having been treated in that way, the formation of deposits of polymer on the internal surfaces of the reactor is substantially reduced and even suppressed.
