PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost gas sensor in which gas supply to electrodes is executed through a gas-permeable support, and a simple method for manufacturing the gas sensor, concerning the gas sensor equipped with an oxygen ion- conductive solid electrolyte having the measuring gas side and the reference gas side, for separating a measuring chamber from a reference chamber, one or more measuring electrodes arranged on the reference gas side of the solid electrolyte, one or more reference electrodes arranged on the reference gas side of the solid electrolyte, and a support permeable at least in the range of the electrodes. SOLUTION: The oxygen ion-conductive solid electrolyte and the electrodes are formed as thin layers and arranged on the gas-permeable support. |
