PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rate information managing system/method for efficiently managing and collecting the rate of service supplied to a plurality of communication terminals from a contents provider. SOLUTION: In the rate information managing system, rate information of service supplied to a plurality of communication terminals different in the collection facilities (telephone companies or the like) of a communication rate is stores in a state where information of the payer of the communication rate of the communication terminal and information on one collection facility that the payer specifies are added. It is transmitted to the respective collection facilities. Services supplied through the lines of the different telephone companies are unified and managed. One telephone company that the payer specifies can collect the service rate in a lump sum.
