The present invention relates to a load separator device for a flow-storage installation comprising at least one inclined rolling path on which, through the effect of gravity, the successive loads move in the direction of the lower end of the rolling path forming a load-removal station. This device is characterised in that the pedal 6, mounted pivotably about a shaft 7 located under the rolling path 1, forms parts of a second-class lever to which is articulated a first end of the longitudinal linking rod 12, thus working in traction, and in that the retractable stop 11 is carried by a support 19, 24 mounted rotatably about a transverse shaft 22 and on which is articulated the second end of the longitudinal linking rod 9. <IMAGE>
