Process for producing a heat exchanger. According to the invention, a first corrugated metal plate 4 is welded to a first plane metal sheet 2, a second plane metal sheet 8 to the first corrugated metal sheet 4, then a second corrugated metal sheet 10 to the second plane metal sheet 8, and so on and so forth, until completing the exchanger, all the welds being produced as spot welds with the aid of a laser beam 14.
