Water-impervious material of construction, based on binders containing silicate, in particular cement, fillers, modifying additives and on an aqueous dispersion of an appropriate polymerisation product. The application of this substance is to be envisaged for making the most diverse structures impervious to water and to water under pressure, in the case of active filler. The field of application is similar to that of many known impervious systems which are employed, for example ''Theroseal'', optionally the HEY'DI system.
