PURPOSE:To attain data communication with high reliability by increasing a bit length of a transmission character on a transmission medium so as to provide redundancy and adding and transmitting information representing the presence or absence of transmission error occurrence obtained with the collation with a refleted data at the transmission side together with a transmission object information data. CONSTITUTION:A bus 20 is continuous U-shaped structue, where an incoming transmission cable 21 and an outgoing transmission cable 22 are folded in U- shape at a folded point 23. The transmission end of plural transmission terminals T1-Tn is connected to the incoming transmission cable 21 and the reception end is connected to the outgoing transmission cable 22. A status data representing the presence or absence of occurrence of a transmission error is added to a character on a transmission line as a redundant part and the legth of the character is made longer as L2. The status data has plural bits and the error is detected by the redundant part only at the reception side.
