PURPOSE:To relieve management of tolerance, by a method wherein the length of the small part of a platen shaft is increased over that of bush, the inner diameter of the bush is decreased over the outer diameter of the small part of the platen shaft, and after the bush is insertedly engaged with the small part, the small part is axially pressed for coupling. CONSTITUTION:A surface with radius R is formed on the corner of the inner peripheral surface of a stepped part 20a of a shaft member 18, and the length of a small part 20 is increased over the length to a bush 16. Meanwhile, the inner diameter of a through-hole 14 of the bush 16 is slightly increased over the outer diameter of the small part 20, and a peripheral edge 14a, positioned facing the stepped part 20a, of the through-hole 14 is chamfered with a radius (r) being smaller than the radius R. After the bush 16 is insertedly engaged with the small part 20 of the shaft member 18, the forward end of the small part 20 is pressed by means of a punch 26, and this causes the peripheral surface, formed on the end surface of the small part 20, to be spread in a radius along the end surface of the bush 16 to engage the bush 16 outwardly with the small part 20 for securing. |
