PURPOSE:To obtain positive electrode of battery which shows excellent performance with a small amount of binding agent by dispersing active substance and conductive material to a solution where a polymer substance is melted, mixing nonsoluble solvent thereto and separating them and thereafter separating the material from the solvent the molding it with pressure. CONSTITUTION:A polymer substance such as polyvinylidene fluoride is melted into the solvent such as dimethylphormamide, etc. and a battery active substance such as graphite fluoride and a conductive aterial such as carbon blank, etc. are mixed and dispersed thereto. A solvent not soluble thereto, for example, water is mixed to such dispersed solution and is separated and a solid component is separated with a filter, etc. The solid component is dried up and smashed and is formed into the positive electrode for battery with pressurized molding. The positive electrode can be formed by this method with a small amount of binding agent (polymer substance). A battery which shown excellent active substance application rate and flatness of voltage and shown excellent discharge voltage can be obtained by using this positive electrode. |
