The invention relates to a device complementary to the main patent, whereby food may be cooked quickly without loss of heat, safely and over a single burner by means of continuous all-round and central circulation over a single burner, with no contact between the food on the one hand and the burnt and burning gases on the other. The device consists, on a utensil for cooking on one burner, of a heat insulated casing 5 and 6, a central chimney 7, a lid for keeping the gases and the food apart 3 and 9, said lid possessing an orifice 8 for the burning gases to pass through, and a safety relief valve 11. The present device means that several receptacles can be placed on top of each other over a single burner, while maintaining the same advantages and thus enabling time and much energy to be saved. <IMAGE>
