PURPOSE:To prevent the effect on other circuits by delaying an on-control signal for a prescribed time and applying the signal to each on-gate terminal of both semiconductor switch elements respectively so as to eliminate a period when both the switch elements are turned on simultaneously at signal switching. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that a high level signal is fed to a terminal 4, then a gate turn-off transistor (TR)16 is turned on, a TR14 is turned off and a thyristor comprising TRs 12, 14 is in the off-state. On the other hand, since a gate turn-off TR15 is turned off and a TR13 are turned on, a thyristor comprising the TRs 12, 13 is in the on-state. Since a high level signal is impressed to a base of the TR14 via a delay device 9 in this state, the TR14 is turned on not momentarily but after a prescribed time. Then the thyristor comprising the TRs 12, 14 is transited to the on-state with a delay.
