PURPOSE:To obtain a reflector and a resonator having higher reflection coefficients by arranging reflecting bodies having positive and negative reflection coefficients on an elastic body substrate throughout the period of several wavelength as prescribed. CONSTITUTION:Metallic electrodes 2 having lambda0/2 period and lambda0/8 width are arranged on an elastic body substrate 1 and are connected by metallic electrodes 4. Metallic electrodes 3 having lambda0/2 period and lambda0/8 width are arranged in center positions between electrodes 2. The phase difference of reflected waves is 180 deg. by piezoelectric actions of short-circuited floating electrodes 2 and open floating electrodes 3 formed in this manner. Consequently, if lengths between centers of electrodes 2 and electrodes 3 are set to lambda0/4, phases of reflected waves are equalized and they are added, and therefore, an elastic surface wave 6 having a high reflection coefficient is obtained. Thus, the reflector and the resonator having higher reflection coefficients are obtained. |
