PURPOSE:To eliminate burr removing and blocking work by extending a lip portion of one of two weatherstrips that have blocking and different widths, and by forming an integral shape by connecting the lip portion with bottom and side portions of the other weatherstrip. CONSTITUTION:The burr generated on the side edges of lip portions 15 and 16 of weatherstrips 6 and 7 is removed and a blocking is provided on inside surfaces of bottom portions 9 and 10 and outside surfaces of the lip portions 15 and 16. Then, the bottom portion 10 and a side portion 13 of the weatherstrip 7 is cut, and a joint lip portion 20 is formed and is abutted to the edge portion of the weatherstrip 6 and placed in a mold. A synthetic rubber and etc. are injected therein and a joint bottom portion 21 and a joint side portion 22 are connected with the bottom portions 9 and 10 and the side portions 12 and 13 to make an integral shape. The inside surface of the joint bottom 21 is abutted to a piece of glass tightly and securely, resulting in elimination of blocking. |
