<p>A valve seat (10) includes a seat body with an inlay and at least one groove (24). The seat body has a passage which extends from a first opening (20) to a second opening in the seat body. A channel (22) is located in the seat body adjacent the first opening and extends around at least a portion of the passage (14). The inlay is located in at least a portion of the channel (22). The groove (24) extends along at least a portion of an inner surface of the passage (14) from the first opening (20) towards the second opening.</p> |
