PURPOSE:To carry out easily the circulation of a sealing N2 gas in starting up and recycling of a product gas in ordinary operation, by means of the respective ejectors provided before a cooling and condensing part of residual steam and a mixing part of process steam, and driving the apparatus using the steam as a driving source. CONSTITUTION:In starting up operation, valves 66 and 62 are opened to seal N2 gas in a circulating line 111, and steam is generated in a steam generator 3. A valve 67 is opened to flow the steam in the first ejector 21, and the N2 gas is then circulated through the circulating line 111 using the sealed N2 gas as a driven fluid. A valve 65 is then opened to feed a fuel into a reforming reactor 13, and the fuel is ignited to heat the reactor 13. The valves 67, 66 and 62 are then closed to open a valve 68, and a liquid in the circulating line 111 is passed through a bypass line 113. A valve 69 is simultaneously opened to purge the interior of the system with steam. A valve 70 is then opened to pass a feedstock hydrocarbon through the system and increase gradually process steam. Thus, the second ejector 22 is driven as a driving source, and the product gas is partially recycled. |
