1. A field roller (1) having a central core (2) equipped with projections (3) directed outwards and arranged along crowns (4) between which are arranged scraper members (24) which extend up to the said central core (2), the said scraper members (24) including means (14, 17, 53, 20, 21) which enable them to pivot about an axis (15) which extends transversely to the direction (9) of advance of the roller, characterized by the fact that the means (14, 17, 53, 20, 21) enable the scraper members (24) to pivot freely about the axis (15) and that at least one feeler element (30, 46) makes the scraper members (24) substantially keep their position wiht respect to at least one portion of the outer surface of the central core (2) of the roller (1).
