摘要 PURPOSE:To enable excellent anti-wear property and printing quality by reducing the damage of a film or an electrode part, by applying etching processing to a flexible printed circuit board comprising a high conductivity metal foil and fixing the leading end thereof by a thermosetting high hardness epoxy resin adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The flexible copper foil printed circuit board 6 of a discharge recording electrode 5 is fabricated by etching processing and polyamide having good heat resistance is used as the material of the base film 10 of the flexible printed base board 6. The leading end part of the head is held between two insulating auxiliary plates 11, 12 and the auxiliary plate 10 functions as the mount plate to the carriage of a printer main body. A thermosetting epoxy adhesive 13 is applied to the gap between the auxiliary plates 10, 11 and the head leading end and cured. After curing, the cured adhesive is ground by a grinding tape 14 until a leading end electrode part 7 is exposed. The electrode part 7 becomes smooth in the contact with a medium film 1 and the damage of the film is markedly lowered and the current supply state with the medium film becomes extremely well and good continuous printing is enabled.
