摘要 PURPOSE:To evaluate a flow velocity distribution easily and securely by forming a continuous image and a copy image of the liquid of a river, etc., to be monitored by vertical photography at constant height, and monitoring the surface flow velocity distribution. CONSTITUTION:A video camera 20 is fixed at the constant height H from the water level of the river, e.g. to the parapet, etc., of a bridge 21 to take a vertical photograph of the water surface of the river continuously. Then, the camera 20 is detached from the bridge 21 after desired-time photography and the photographedvideo tape is copied to another video tape. Two cathode-ray tube display devices are arranged at a right and a left side; and a continuous image from one of the original tape and copy tape is reproduced and displayed on one display device and a continuous image from the other tape is displayed on the other display device. In this case, the playback of the other tape is delayed behind the playback of one tape by a time difference which generates parallax.
