<p>PURPOSE:To make clear pattern on an uneven substrate, by forming base coat layer on the surface of the uneven substrate, by painting heat-sensitive adhesive on the protruding part, then by transferring heat-transfer ink contained in the transfer paper to the protruding part by pressing the paper to the protruding part. CONSTITUTION:Undercoat, composed of a mixture of synthetic resin with pigments etc., is painted on the surface of uneven substrate 1 such as wood to form a base coat layer 2. Then heat-sensitive adhesive 4 made by mixing thermoplastic resin with dyes etc. is painted on the surface of the protruding part to form the layer 4 of the heat-sensitive adhesive. On the other hand, transfer paper 8 is manufactured by painting heat-transferring ink layers 6, 7, made by fully mixing fat and oil, or synthetic resin with pigments, dyes, plasticizers, stabilizers, driers, solvents, diluents, on the base sheet 5 such as paper, resin film, or metallic film, if necessary after painting releasing agent. The transfer paper 8 is allowed to contact with the heat- sensitive adhesive layer 4, and is pressed and heated by hot press roller 9 so as to transfer the ink layer, then the transfer paper is released, hereby desired patterns 10, 11 are formed on the uneven substrate.</p> |
