PURPOSE:To provide a mechanical on-off control thermovalve by adapting a temperature detector for displacing an operation element, and a lever mechanism for reversing and biasing an operating member thereof in response to the displacement of the operation element. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature goes down below a preset temperature by 5-10 deg.C in a non-temperature control atmosphere, liquid in a temperature-sensitive cylinder 27 is contracted, so that an operation element 20 is pulled in to turn a response member 17. An operating portion 15 is reversed and biased from a non-operation position to an operating portion by the movement of the response member 17 to push up a valve rod 7 and open a valve 1, so that fuel gas is supplied to a burner. Thus, the atmosphere temperature rises, and a medium in the temperature-sensitive cylinder 27 expands, so that the operation element 20 is projected to turn the response member 17 clockwise, and the operating member 15 is reversed and biased to the non-operation position. Thus, the valve 1 is closed to stop the supply of fuel to the burner. |
