PURPOSE:To control the temp. of brick along with the temp. of blast to a set value by supplying low-calorie fuel and high-calorie fuel to a hot stove wherein said brick whose characteristic at low temps. is a problem is used, and regulating simultaneously the amt. to be supplied of both fuels. CONSTITUTION:The silica brick, etc. having excellent high-temp. characteristics and which nevertheless can be broken at less than specified temps. due to the remarkable volume change is used as a refractory material in a hot stove 1 for producing hot air for a blast furnace 2, and a high-calorie fuel and a low-calorie fuel are simultaneously supplied. A blast thermometer 4 is provided to a blast main pipe 3 for the produced hot air, and the temp. of the hot air is measured and inputted to a calculator 9 through a regulator 5 and a transmitter 8. Meanwhile, the temp. of the lowest-temp. site of said brick is measured by a brick- joint thermometer 14 provided in the hot stove 1, and inputted to the calculator 9 through a transmitter 15. Control signals are outputted from calculators 9 and 10 through a transmitter 11 on the basis of said temp. signals, regulating valves 13A and 13B are operated by a regulator 12, and both fuels are regulated simultaneously. |
