PURPOSE:To facilitate the scavenging of remaining corn of the like by interlocking an opening-closing cover of a terminal opening in a spiral tube for transferring corn grains with an opening-closing cover of a lower end opening in another spiral tube communicating to this spiral tube for lifting the corn grains to be opened and closed. CONSTITUTION:After corn grains are taken out to a spiral tube 2 by the rotation of a spiral 1, they are lifted and transferred in a spiral tube 6. Then, a control lever 19 engages an engaging portion 20 in the position shown by the solid line to close an opening 7 with an opening-closing cover 8 by the elastic force of a leaf spring 18. Also, the opening-closing cover 8 closes an opening 3 with an opening-closing cover 4 by the elastic force of a coil spring 21. On the other hand, when said both openings 3, 7 are opened, the control lever 19 is disengaged from the engaging portion 20. Then, the leaf spring 18 is loosened so that the opening-closing cover 8 pivots about a shaft 15 to open the opening 7. Also, the opening of said cover 8 loosens the leaf spring 21 to pivot said cover 4 about a hinge 10 and open the opening 3. Then, the interiors of both spiral tubes 2, 6 are scavenged through both openings 3, 7. |
