PURPOSE:To enable a certain amount of winded yarn to be always taken up by configurating a device in such a manner that numbers of original yarn rolls are periodically weighed by a mobile weighing unit to calculate the specified remaining time of a spindle concerned, and a signal for the end of winding operation of the spindle concerned can be provided when the time is up. CONSTITUTION:Before the actual take-up operation starts, the initial weight Wo of an original yarn roll is inputted into an arithematic unit 14 in advance, a yarn fiber is unfastened from the original yarn roll of each spindle, and is winded up on a robbin 2 through a yarn guide 6, a traverse guide 2b and others. After the take-up operation starts, the original yarn roll Y in a creel section 1 is periodically weighed by a mobile weighing unit 8 and then the measured value is inputted into the arithematic unit 14, which (14) computes automatically the specified remaining take-up time of each spindle concerned based on the specified computing formula. The signal for the end of winding operation is outputted when the time concerned is up. The mobile weighing unit 8 is constructed in such a manner that it is positioned in relation to a positioning dock 10, and the weight measurement can be made while the original yarn roll Y is supported by the operation of a lifting mechanism 8f. |
