PURPOSE:To secure an accurate position for a chucking head by supporting a spindle of a disk drive motor by a bearing fixed to a chassis. CONSTITUTION:A chassis 21 of a floppy disk device contains a drive motor M that rotates a disk 23 stored in a disk case 22. A linear actuator 27 gives a rectilinear shift to a head carriage 26 serving as a traveling object that holds a magnetic head 25 for write/read of information signals to the disk 23. The case 22 is positioned by plural support/positioning pins 18 set on a substrate. The centering hub of the disk 23 is put on a chucking head 13 which is rotated by a motor M. Then a hook part of the centering hub is hooked to a revolution lock 31 set to the head 13. Thus the head 13 is rotated by the motor M. |
