PURPOSE:To give effectively full play to the magnetic characteristics through annealing efficiently, by covering a surface of a silicon steel strip with an enamel frit which is crystallized after melting or which is in a melting state resulting from heating of the applied enamel frit, and annealing a silicon steel strip using heat or burning. CONSTITUTION:Such as an oxide enamel frit, a crystallized enamel frit, for instance, an enamel frit 2 melting at the temperature of 750 deg.C or above is applied on a silicon steel strip 1 and dried. When the enamel frit 2 is heated in the air and melted at the annealing temperature of the silicon steel strip 1, for instance, 750 deg.C or above to form the enamel frit in the melting state covering the face of the silicon steel strip 1, and the silicon steel strip 1 is annealed gradually by cooling down, a silicon steel strip core insulated substrate 4 in a state covered with an enamel frit 3 can be obtained. In this annealing, covering the surface of the silicon steel strip 1 with the enamel frit in a melting state prevents the silicon steel strip 1 from oxidating. |
