<p>PURPOSE:To enable a fold line to be easily creased at its center section for use of the book binding operation in the middle of a form by configurating a device in such a manner that a pusher is arranged to move a form conveying belt upward, and V belt is arranged as well to run pressing the form on the conveying belt which is deformed by the above mentioned pusher. CONSTITUTION:When a form P is carried in a book binding device 46 from a feeder in a copying machine 1, the form P is forwarded through conveying rollers 47 and 48 while being placed on the conveyor surface 51a of a conveyor belt 51 which is running to the left direction. The belt 51 is suspended when it is detected by a sensor (not shown) that the center section of the form P comes just under the tip of a V belt 53, then the conveyor surface 51a is deformed upward with a pusher 52 moved upward accompanied by upward movement of the form P until its center comes in contact with the V belt 53. Then a fold line is formed at the center of the form P by running the V belt 53, and followed by down movement of the pusher 52 and reactivation of the conveyor belt 51.</p> |
