<p>PURPOSE:To input a data from a large-sized screen, and to improve a monitor function of a picture by installing a photodetector to the periphery of the large- sized screen, projecting a linear light crossing this screen, and detecting its light by the photodetector. CONSTITUTION:A crossing linear light is fetched from a transmitter 9, and projected to a large-sized screen 5. The light projected to the large-sized screen 5 is detected by a photodetector 4 placed on the periphery of the large-sized screen 5, and in case coordinates of each photodetector 4 in that case are P1(x1, y1), P2 (x2, y2), P3(x3, y3), and P4(x4, y4), an intersection point P(xP, yP) of straight lines P1, P2, P3 and P4 can be derived easily from these four coordinate values (x1- x4, y1-y4). That is to say, an optional coordinate P(xP, yP) on a picture surface of the large-sized screen 5 is determined by intrinsic coordinates P1, P2, P3 and P4 of each photodetector 4.</p> |
