Propagation of quercus suber L. by somatic embryogenesis consists of somatic embryogenesis by controlled cultivation for stimulation of germination

摘要

The propagation of quercus suber L. by somatic embryogenesis comprises cultivation of embryos under aseptic conditions in medium supplemented by 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid. The embryos are treated at 2-5 degreesC for two to ten weeks to stimulate germination. Plant production is stimulated by basic medium supplemented by benzyl adenine.
