The call switch of a telephone provides a call signal to all connected telephones. When one of the telephones is answered, the rest of the telephones can no longer hear the telephone conversation, and no longer receive the call signal. When the first receiver turns on a call switch, the call signal is provided to the rest of the telephones, and a conversation network is formed exclusively between the original caller and a second receiver.
