PURPOSE:To provide the titled continuous annealing equipment capable of preventing efficiently the deterioration of the iron loss in a silicon steel sheet by providing a group of rolls zigzag at the inside of an annealing furnace, and affording repeated bending to the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:In continuous annealing equipment jointly used for the coating of a silicon steel sheet, a group of plural rolls 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26 are provided zigzag at the appropriate site in an annealing furnace 19. A coated silicon steel sheet S is repeatedly bent while passing through a group of rollers 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26, and the winding tendency is removed without being provided with tension. By said mechanism, the iron loss value of the directional silicon steel sheet is remarkably improved. |
