PURPOSE:To enable a take-up roller to be stopped within the range of the specified tension force which is set in advance by obtaining the difference between an inertia torque of the take-up roller and a tension force in such a manner that the inertia torque is computed based on detected signals on speed and tension force of a wire material, and on the number of revolution of the take-up roller. CONSTITUTION:The feeding speed of a wire material 1 which is fed from a wire material processor 10, is picked up by a detector 24, simultaneously the number of revolution of a motor 20 for a take-up roller 4 is picked up by a detector 26. These signals Sm and Sn are provided to a division calculator 30 to obtain a signal SD, which is then provided to a multiplication calculator 32 together with a constant K1 to obtain a reference signal S2. Next, the reference signal SD is provided to a division calculator 34 to obtain a signal S3, which is then provided to a multiplication calculator 36 together with the above mentioned signal Sn to obtain an inertia signal Si. Next, the inertia signal Si is provided to a subtraction calculator 38 together with a tension signal St which has been set by a tension control set 28 to obtain a control signal Sc. Then the control signal Sc is applied to a disc brake 22 through an amplifier 40 to stop the take-up roller 14. |
