<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the transaction for jamming by installing sensors, etc. for detecting the jam of copying paper into the divided units for a plurality of works which form a transfer passage, thus facilitating the discrimination of the unit in which jam is generated. CONSTITUTION:The transfer passage for a copying paper 5 is constituted of a plurality of units, namely a paper feeding unit 1, copying paper unit 2, transfer unit 3, and a fixation unit 4. In this case, the sensors 1S-4S for detecting the jam of the copying paper are arranged in the units 1-4, respectively. The units 1-4 are installed onto the apparatus body 6 in demountable ways through handle parts 15-45. Each of the handle parts 15-45 is made of transparent or semitransparent synthetic-resin plates, etc., and lamps 1L-4L operated by the outputs of the sensors 1S-4S are arranged inside the units 1-4. Therefore, the unit in which jam of the copying paper 5 is generated can be easily confirmed, and the proper transaction is permitted.</p> |
