PURPOSE:To decrease the number of components and to attain size reduction and simplification by arranging the incidence terminal of the 3rd fiber where projection light from the 1st fiber which is projected from a spherical lens and reflected by an optical film is converged. CONSTITUTION:The spherical lens 1 is arranged between an optical fiber 3 and an optical fiber 4, optical fibers 3, 4, and 5 are arranged in a T shape, and the optical film 2A is arranged at the intersection of their axis cores at 45 deg. to the axis cores of the optical fibers 3, 4, and 5. An optical signal projected from the optical fiber 3 for input is incident on the spherical lens 1, and converged and projected toward the optical fiber 4. A demultiplexing element 2 having the optical film 2A made of, for example, an interference film filter is provided in the middle on the axis core between the spherical lens 1 and optical fiber 4, so the optical signal with specific wavelength which is transmitted is incident on the optical fiber 4 and optical signals with other wavelengths are reflected and incident on the optical fiber for output, thus performing demultiplexing operation.
