STEEL SHEET FOR CAN HAVING EXCELLENT WELDABILITY

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce inexpensively a steel sheet for a can having excellent weldability by plating intermittently and linearly Sn on one surface of a steel sheet then forming metallic Cr plating on both surface so the steel sheet and Cr oxide layers thereon. CONSTITUTION:The linear Sn plating layer 2 having 2-15mm. width is intermittently formed at 1.0-6.0g/m<2> thickness on one surface of the steel sheet 1. The plating layer 3 of metallic Cr is formed at 10-200mg/m<2> thickness over the entire surface of the steel sheet contg. said Sn plating layer 2 and further the Cr oxide layer 4 is deposited on the surface thereof to 3-30mg/m<2> thicknessin terms of metallic Cr. The metallic Cr plating layer 3' is formed to 3-50mg/m<2> thickness on the opposite surface of the steel sheet and the Cr oxide 4' is deposited thereon to 3-30mg/m<2> thickness in terms of metallic Cr. The steel sheet for a can having excellent weldability is produced at a low cost.
